Dealers or who ever opens the crates puts the fairing on along with the tires and some other parts that are packaged for shipping. Go down to a dealer some day and watch them open the crates of new bikes and put them together. You can learn a how guys day in and day out put bikes together in a hurry, then again you may not want to watch.

They may not mount the fairings, but it should be part of the prep after taking it out of the crate.

I'm not sure I understand.

"They" (the dealer) dont mount the fairings....

but IT should be part of the prep....
