Brake problem, need help

Heard a clicking noise when returning from a ride yesterday.
thought I picked up a rock but after closer inspection found out that I have 2 loose float rings in my front brake rotor!!
They are right next to each other too.
I've never had this happen on any bike I've owned.
Can it be fixed or do I need a new rotor?? Bike only has 5700 miles on it. Do you think it would be safe to drive to a shop?
Please advise.

Hmm-- yea i suppose a rock could do that--- replace that rotor...prolly find one here on .org-- just don't go too fast on the way to the shop,

try to tap them or press them in first. sounds like ya need a new rotor.i d ride mine to the shop .

It would probably be best to trailer it

if you do ride it take it slow and have someone follow you with their flashers on.

Two rings prolly isn't going to be dangerous, if your concerned have them looked at but unless they are spinny round loose I would be too concerned.
