Still have the OEM pads on my 2012 Hayabusa. I can still see the wear indicators meaning they should have life, but at what point (age) would it be a good idea to change?
I'd take them out and have a look at them to check for de-lamination between the pads and the backings, if there is no evidence of de-lamination or glazing and the pads aren't at the wear bars, they will be GTG, unlike tires made of rubber, there's no real age issue with brake pads.
