Boost and top speed question

This question is pertaining to my 2010 gsxr 1000 turbo project. This my first turbo bike so I'm not trying to do big power, just doing baby steps till I'm ready to build better in future. I'm planning on running 6 psi on a stock motor. Can I hold boost for extended periods 2-4 miles if I retard timing to safe levels. Unfortunately unlike the busa this bike has no room for intercooler.

how bout alky/water injection if no intercooler. u run WOT for miles and ur motor will melt!

its all about controlling cyl temps and detonation , timing is a large part, as is cooling the intake charge , selecting the right fuel
I would not even consider top speeding a std motor with a turbo on it, cheaper to replace parts before breaking them

in your shoes i would at a very minimum, decompress, with thicker gasket, head studs, upgrade the valve springs, ceramic coat the pistons , and go one size larger BE bearings
and get a good logger , that can watch a/f, egt, oil pressure , speed, rpm,
water/air intercoolers will fit the 1000 , water inj helps.

oh and quality engine managment
FMU and Pc will not cut it
