Bonneville,salt flats

I would like to try this..cost 265.00..plus expenses..
Maybe if a few of us wanted to do this..rent  a big trailer or truck and share some of the cost....of getting there?
Meet up in Reno,nv?? event happens in september.

Would love to try the flats, but can not make the schedule. Maybe next year for 250mph +
