bolt-on swingarm extension question.

are the bolt-on swingarm extensions strong enough to run on the 1/4 mile? i want to put a 9" extension on my busa. all i've got are 16/42 sprockets and slip on jardine exhaust. any body have the bolt-ons and runs the strip?

yes there are strong enuff. all things chrome on ebay has the 7-9 inch kit for $250

I'm 290 fully suited and my bike is 5.5" over with bolt-ons and a turbo. I would stay 6" or shorter. 7-9" is too much for the rear shock to handle and puts a heavier load on the bolts. IMO if you "need" 7-9 inches for a dragbike, you "need" a welded swingarm. Most busas stretched over six inches are bling bikes and don't have the shock or spring to lay down the power anyway.

I BEEN EYEBALLING THIS PROSTREET ARM IT COMES WITH ALL THE BELLS+WHISTLES.Some that stuff going have buy anyway.

I'm 230lbs and ran 6-9 extension with a turbo and didnt have any problems. I think thats about the limit
