and that is exactly why his lawyer will claim that due to all the highly publicized negitive media hype that his client "Mr. Lane" can not POSSIBLY get a fair trial and that the damaging affects such will have on his clents primary business will have a gross negitive impact his clients livelyhood...which in his eyes and that of the courts should be punishment enough.
