They were pretty tough threatening with the hammers, never swung tho, guess they knew they were outmatched.
 
I'm not sure what their plan was either.
They were all on bikes. Were they going to walk the bikes home?
 
fail, they got one of the staff pretty bad at the end when they tossed the bar.

thats exactly what I was wondering. I expected to see a van parked outside or something. more proof that criminals are usually stupid which is why their criminals to begin with.....:whistle:
 
if you read the comments the rider of the vespa in the high vis identify s himself and says not involved...
 
Saw this on the news.
Same thing happened at another shop later.

Don't know what you call these little Scratters in the US here in the UK we call them Chav's.
 
That technique is used in a lot of typical retail shoplifting, but I've never heard of it being used for anyting as big and high ticket as motorcycles. Wow. Awful "planning" by the bungling robbers and great backbone by the good guys. Hats off! :)
