Well I spent the weekend (well just today actually) Working on my exhaust.

I did 382's stock exhaust mod. Actually pretty darn simple if you have the right tools, the first can took me about an hour to do. the second took me about 30 minutes.

The cans are still off my Busa because I am also polishing them. But it is pretty much straight through exhaust now, and I drove the Busa around the block with no pipes on.. And I am imagining it will sound pretty close to the way it did with no pipes. and did it sound mean. I drove to my friends house who has a Harley and he had no idea who drove up in his driveway.

I am thinking 382's exhaust mod is exactly what I was looking for, about 3 hours in labor and about $20.00 in parts.

Now, breathing.. should I do anything to the intakes? I keep hearing about K&N filters and how you can do stuff to the intake to get more HP, anyone have some advice on something simple to do that will compliment my exhaust mod?

Big thanks to Bike382!!!

Thought about doing this one myself, but think I will go with some slip-ons. Just haven't decided if the carbon fiber of polished is the right color!

Thrash.......does it backfire on decel now??
Actually... to my amazement, it did not backfire on decel with the pipes off. Ran it around my neighbor hood yesterday with no cans on the Busa and it seemed to have more getty up and I was expecting it to backfire on decel but it didn't.

I still don't have the cans on yet, still polishing. When I get the cans on I will let everyone know how they work.

Hey i know this is kinda of a dated reply but what parts did u have to buy and how do u polish i saw some directions on a website but they didnt say if you needed and special solvent or anything. how long didi it take you to finish the the polishing job thrash?
