Bike suddenly hard to downshift and still moves with clutch pulled up.

05 hayabusa with 99 engine. Was riding good for weeks but all of a sudden today the clutch started acting funny. When you hold it in all the way the bike still tries to move forward like it’s still in gear a little bit. It’s also kind of hard to downshift because you have press down harder. Haven’t gotten home yet to mess with it but where do I even begin? Could it just be that the clutch needs to be bleed? I completely flushed it a couple months ago when I did my engine swap.

If bleeding doesn't fix it, it must be something broke. Since it just happened all the sudden, it seems like a mechanical problem not a fluid problem or need for a replacement part.

There has been more broken chains and engine damage on here in the last year than ever before. I just bought a new chain and 4 rear sprockets ( I chew threw em' every 1000 miles or so). I figured while Im in there with the new chain and sprockets I might as well buy some insurance on...

Alright guys went straight to the slave cylinder and saw that the 2 bolts at the bottom managed to work themselves out. Tightened them up and problem solved! Appreciated the help guys

little hint:

both srews only get 10 Nm

and please NO thread locking with "loctite" or so.
