A buddy of mine got sideswiped by a Ford truck that never looked before changing two lanes to get to an on-ramp at the last minute...

Best of all he is okay and this video will make him laugh!

The frame on the bike punctured like a tin can from the clip-on. The right side was rashed hard and the forks collapsed against the wheel keeping it from turning.

We could not roll the bike up the ramp, thus it had to be dragged. That is what full-coverage insurance is for. Rattha is too small for a R6 but is now getting a GSXR1000 LOL!!

He's actually at the dealership right now, 10 am cause he doesn't want to miss this weekend's ride!!

Yeah... in the Day, the Boss Ruled! All the way home all I could hear in my head was, "I'm Goin' Down down down...."

So where is the Ford truck that side swiped him?  Don't tell me you guys let him get away.

Actually he got caught at the light with one other rider.  We turned around once over the freeway overpass and he wasn't to be found we went back.  The truck crossed from the left lane hitting him in the center to get to the entrance ramp.  Within a mile there are three interchanges to Baltimore, DC or Annapolis.  So, the only rider on scene was picking him up, calling 911 and doing that job.

Believe me... I would have loved to chase the Cager down but I had a rider and putting someone else in harm's way is a risk I am not going to take.

As for Rattha's height/weight... he is MAYBE 5'2" and 100 pounds.  Damn guy would make a great Jockey!

Dayum! That blows. This is why groups of at least 3 is best...if one goes down, one attends to their needs and the other one goes after the MoFo that wrecked him if they run.

You'd think another cager would at least get their plates, unless no one else was there to witness.

A guy I know got T-boned @ intersection by drunk driver. His brother was behind and attended to him. luckily, sme other cagers tracked her down and she was arrested.

Yes it is... He's doing fine and dreaming of his new bike already. I thought he was going to get a new one but is now having to deal with Insurance issues.
