We just had the biggest rain at our house ever... Straight down rain no wind, it just poured and poured, water is going everywhere (except inside my house) our driveway just got washed out, my yard is a lake and its still coming down...

Of course pics are coming...

I can relate

On the way to work, 5:30 a.m. Actually had to pull over

On the way home 3:p.m. Straight down pour

and has been raining ever since.

Keep Dry Cap

I can relate to rain :
Florida possesses 4 of the Top 10 wettest cities in the United States, ranked by average annual precipitation:
Pensacola, Tallahassee, West Palm Beach and Miami.

And I live in WPB :( We average over 65 inches a year
We have gotten almost 12 inches of rain in the last week .
I got to ride today for all of 11 miles before I had to turn around and outrun a big one home .

As promised....

You going to be Ok Doug ? That is alot of water. I personally would be Freakin Out right about now

It hasn't stopped, it slowed way down but they are saying it gonna rain more for hours...

Steve are you getting anything, Rick, hows the creek?

Wow!

You know - you should give the boys some soap and have 'em wash the cars... LOL Washed and rinsed

It started like that for us here in Cedar Rapids a couple years ago...

Good luck! When they tell you to get out, listen and take the things you wanna keep.

At least you have a neighbor with a Bobcat you can borrow to rebuild the driveway! We've been getting freak storms like that in the late afternoon - sunny one minute then clouds book in and the sky opens up, but not 3.5" in less than an hour - WHOA!!!
