I’m building a Gen1 Busa with big power/nitrous combo and would like to know the best race wheels for street and track? I had a buddy of mine bust the rear hub on a set of OZ magnesium wheels and want to steer away from wheels that will crack over time? Thanks

Hi. Tell us more about your build please. I am building a turbo with nitrous. What kind of power are you looking to make? I am looking at 750-800+HP.

I can only speak to using CoreMoto but I have had them for 14 years and 50thou miles with zero problems on the poor condition roads where I live.

You could buy bst wheels. Looks to me all the pro street guys run them. Plus they warrant them for life.

I have Carrazzerria Tri-R on my ZX-14 since about 2012. These were from before CoreMoto bought Carrazzeria. These wheels have extra thin spokes and there was a concern they could break on a hyperbike. I have had no problems at all with mine. I check them every year with a dial gauge and they have not bent.

I plan on going with BST Rapid TEK for my 08 busa.

BSTs are what I really want just didn’t know if they hold up on the street. Thanks for the info.

Nice!!!! That sounds like a pro grudge bike. I’m going with a stage 2 turbo kit, light head work, cams and pistons. I should be 450-550hp.
