Im going to show my dealer this thread online............
I purchased 3 New Bikes from him since 2002,
I traded in my 02 R1 For an 03 Busa...went upside down at $12,800 for the Busa, they sold my 02 R1 And made Several Hundred Dollars more on that!....I knew it though............Then I purchased an 05 GSXR1000 from him at $10,400 Out the door when I could of saved $200 and went about 70 miles to get a better deal.....

HE HAS MY 2005 GSXR1000 ON HIS SALES FLOOR FOR SALE AT $7,999.00 AND SAID HE DO IT WITHOUT TAKING ANY EXTRA $$$ BECAUSE I AM BUYING AN 07 BUSA FROM HIM......<span style='font-size:13pt;line-height:100%'></span>WHAT KINDA DEAL SHOULD I NEGOTIATE FOR? SHOULD I TRY FOR $10,900.00 OUT THE DOOR WITH A PC3 USB POWER COMMANDER & YOSH FULL SYSTEM PIPE?
I CAN GO TO TOLDEO OHIO "ABOUT 95 MILES AWAY" AND GET AN 07 BUSA FOR 9599 OUT THE DOOR.........
OR GO TO ANOTHER LOCAL MICHIGAN DEALER & GET AN 07 AT $10,100.00 OUT THE DOOR...............

And to top this all off I am being told dealers are wanting to Dump their 2007 inventory of Hayabusa's because the New 08 Hayabusa "IS BEING RELEASED" At the end of June!...........sales are really slow on the 07 Hayabusa because of this knowledge!!

Well I just talked to my dealer yesterday and he told me that the 08 busa's will be available here in Wisconsin late July and he already has the first 2 sold. As far as the rumor mill goes, he said there will be a change and it will be worth the wait. He has some 07's and he told me to personally wait on the 08, that I would be happy with it. Thats all he could tell me untill June. But the engine has a significate change he said. As far as my 06 last April, I paid 9300.00 out the door.

I paid 8,900 out the door for my brand new Red and black 2005. (Friend of the dealer called in a favor). I bought my 2007 White L.E. from the same dealer for 11,000

Most people get theirs for around 10k or less. That's the price I would shoot for.

The prices quoted are good! But depends on when and where! If it was a left over from one year back and you pay over 10k OTD you got no friend in that store! If he has a corral of them, they pay $9,200 and will deal from that figure + TTTag on the 07's.

Hey brad, I hear ya! Same here over the hill in Carson City, new '05 busa in May of '05 for $11,000 OTD.
Seems like EVERYTHING is more expensive out west!

Which dealer did you get out the door for that price? Casto's was 10k out the door for an 07. 700 bucks higher in Parkersburg for the same bike. I got an 06 in Columbus for 9700. Paid a little much as the prices started dropping 2 weeks after I bought. A dealer north of here started advertising 9200 for 06's.
