Best Map for my Busa 2006

Hello guys,

I'm new on this website and also new rider. I need help. Can anybody give me advise or what the best MAP for my PCIII, i really don't have any idea if the map i have on there is good or best to my busa! i just got this busa not too long ago. or any recommendation of what it needs to done, so far i changed new spark plugs and oil changed.

Welcome!

You best bet is to find a tuner and get a custom map. Every bike reacts differently even with same mods, so the same map might run a little lean or rich on different bikes. PC website should have some maps that are generic you can DL by comparing your mods.

I just checked that against the maps that come with the PCIII. That definately looks like a custom map which was probably set up for your bike. It doesn't look like any of the maps that come with the PCIII.

It would probably help to find out what mod's if any your bike has. Does it have an aftermarket exhaust, airbox mod, etc.? As mentioned, the power commander website has some basic maps for the more common mods that you can just download and pushed to your PCIII (I'm assuming its a PCIII USB).

That said, my guess is that the map you have may already be the best for your bike.

I'm curious as to why you are asking. Is your bike not running well?

I just finished loading a custom map into my PCIII USB just 10 min ago that was set up for me by a tuner. It sure makes a difference!

Yeah a custom map is really the way to go. Even if you think your bike runs well you no idea how much better it could run with a custom map. I would get all the mods done that you plan on doing power wise and get the thing into a good shop. Try to find one where you can watch them red line the thing a bunch of times. It was a lot of fun.

I tell you the truth i have no idea if this is custom set up or not. Ive been only on this bike for like less than a month. If you sayin that this is custom set up then i will probably don't need it anymore. But really thanks for your advise "appreciated" im rookie rider also. Im so amaze on this busa. lol.
