Gave roomie my nice (5yr) old HP lappy. She spills beer in it.

No,not sex u perverts.
Used canned air (insert jokes here) to spray out any remaining sudds. (very little evident) I believe it was allowed to dry before I was informed....

Re/re the case halves,installing new gasket and high performance goodies. Lappy comes back to life. Turn off/on works. :thumbsup:
Today...no start,no ignition light,gauges do not sweep...where is the main fuse on this thing.
Kidding,I think. IDK.
Idea's...before I do a re-boot with my size 11's.
Help save this ancient artifact from the landfill.

They look ok, work fine for a while, then, nothing

It's the dried liquid on the pcb that etches into the tracks and corrodes the pcb.
The idea is to remove the liquid at the beginning, hit it with some board cleaner or isoprpynol and hit it gently with a soft brush then gentle compressed air with a moisture filter.
If it's died after a week or so.. Sorry but it's toast..
