where is the best place to run the cable on a battery tender it seems as if i saw a topic on this some time ago

? my battery was dead as door nail the other day so i replaced it now im gonna put a battery tender on it and need some advice from those who have gone before

I have mine zip tied to come out in the rear right below the connecting piece in the tail.
Just open the hump and it's right there in front.

I ran mine to the opening below the hump on the left side as you sit on the bike. No need to lift up the hump. It's the opening that has a grab handle to help lift up bikes on a center stand if equipped. It will tuck behind and not fall out at high speed. I would post a pic but the camera is not here, I left it at work.
