1. Been looking at Battery Dender from Deltron. They have the Junior and the Plus. I read reviews, info, watched videos and still cant really tell the difference between both. Which do you guys recommend

2. How about CTEK. Anyone use their product. It seems to be more popular in Europe than US.

Info/recommendations would really help! Tx.

Battery Tender Junior

*Two-color LED indicator
*Spark-proof; reverse polarity protected
*12' output cord and quick-connect harness

Battery Tender Plus

Comes with:
*Constantly monitors the battery without the damaging effects of trickle chargers
*Voltage output compensates for temperature changes
*Initial charge brings battery to full charge at approximately 14.2V
*After full charge is reached, converts to float charger and monitors the battery at 13.2V
*Although a constant charge is being applied to the battery, there is little or no current (approx 10mA)

I have a Schumacher I purchased from Walmart about 20.00, had it for over a year now full floating works great.

I use the Junior on my bike. The quick disconect is hidden under the hump/Rear seat.
I started to use it on my '82 Nighthawk becasue the charging system was so poor. I never had a battery problem since. I have yet to needed it with the busa. It normaly goes to green before I am out the door.

Good investment for winter time storage.

Been using the Jr since I bought the R1 4 years ago and use it every winter and never had any problems with it.

I have 5 of the Battery Tender Plus and never had a problem with them. The first one I got I put on a jetski and it keep the battery good for about 5 years.

Can you guys please check if your BatteryTenders (Jr and BT Plus) Chargers/Tenders also work on 220V electricity. Or only 110V USA.

Thanks

Until I get myself my own charger/tender, I borrowed a friends one. It is a 12V Battery Charger that is 4AMP. Is that alright for the busa battery or No Can Do? I tried Jump Starting from another bike But not enough power to turn on.

I've tried jumpin mine off the BT Junior when my battery wasn't holding a charge over night... it usually took 10min of charging then it fires right up...

Shouldn't be more than 1 or 2 amps.

+1 on the batterytender Jr. Small, compact and real easy to use...no problems and I had it for years. No switches...just plug it in.
