Sheene on the Suzuki RG750 at Daytona in 1975, the same year Kenny Roberts won the Indy mile on the TZ750.
Things didn't go as well for Barry as they did for Kenny..

Another trivia bit.. Barry Sheene basically blew Kenny Roberts off as not a threat to the championship. Kenny ended up taking the championship from Sheene and forcing the many times injured rider into retirement.
That list of broken things at the end of the video, and the chronic pain from the injuries, also forced Barry out of his home country (England), to the Gold Coast of Australia.
Wouldn't be long until the 500s made their appearance, and sophistication would come to art of injury.
