I have parked my bikes, both Harley and Busa, at hotels, but the parking lots were well-lighted and I made sure I parked where any shenanigans would be observed. Other security measures were my brake rotor lock and my bike cover, which I locked to the front wheel with a huge cable lock. A covered bike keeps your baby from attracting attention. I have a most annoying Harley motion-activated alarm with a pitch so high your teeth would hurt when it sounded. I also lock the wheel in a turned position. No number of measures is foolproof, but if you make stealing your bike as big a pain as possible, many thieves will pass yours by.
