Deja Vu,
Cruising around on the busa enjoying life and realized that the fuel gage is reading 1/4, and has been for a long time. Then look at the miles, 260 since last fill up. Then the bike runs out of gas. I was lucky this time, close to a gas station.
The first time this happend on a remote stretch of northern CA road on my first busa. I guess I don't learn from my mistakes.
The GOOD news is that my dealer found that the sender is covered under WARRANTY even though the bike is a 2002 with 16,000 miles. If you own a CA emissions bike all fuel issues are covered up to 5 years 18,641 miles (pg 96 of my owners manual). I called suzuki warranty service at 714-572-1490 and they said it was covered also.
