Mostly for sure unless it's guys that use an Spectrographic Oil Analysis Program , utilize lock step methods and more to quantify the results of the end product after service duty .
Even then I see a some favoritism and dissing other product brands without sound reasoning .
Mobile 1 semi-synthetic 5w30 it is the silver bottle with the blue cap... Yes it is car oil and no it won't hurt your bike, if you are worried about it you can spring a few extra bucks for the full synth with the silver cap. i used to use that too but i heard of people having clutch slippage with the full synth stuff so i backed it back town to the semi-synthetic. Ask almost anybody and you will get a diff answer but it is cheap and it works great.
its oil and if it requires a lot of thought it becomes a distraction.any synthetic bike specific oil is just piece of mind with no thought involved.as for the extra cost....my busa is WELL worth it.
