I bought an Arai Signet. I tried on all the major brands, including the Arai Quantum.
In the end, fit is everything. I have a few complaints about the Signet. The chin vent is harder to open than the Quantum and tends to get messed up more with bugs. The helmet could be quieter - but unfortunately no helmet is very quiet. Arai has made a tradeoff between noise and performance. And the helmet takes a fair bit of effort to get on and off (I fit my helmet QUITE snug to my head).
But once the helmet is on it fits like a glove with very little movement.
The signet would be 'perfect' if ARAI did the following:
- gave it the Quantum chin vents.
- a little more noise deadening.
- eliminate the whistle when the top vent is open.
- make the visor easier to remove.
But don't change the fit.
