Anyone run the drain to right side of pan

Just debating on switching my gravity drain to the right side of the oem pan instead of left. Running on left causes oil to reach top of drain while on kickstand since bike is lowered. Will get a small puff if I park with the front end downhill, thinking a right side drain fitting may fix that

I don't think it will work. You are still running enough oil that the drain will be submerged even on the right side of the pan. So if you park with the front end downhill, you'll probably get the same result.
