Anyone have any experience with Metzeler

Dealer recommended Metzerler M1 for a replacement tire. Anyone have any experience with these?

The Sport Tec is a great tire. You won't get a huge amount of miles out of them but that as with all things depends on how you ride them. I would recommend them. I just sold a set to Big Gar on this board and he swears by them. Hope this helps but if you require more info let me know.

I only ride on metzelers, I tried all everything before going to them,(Dunlop,Pirelli,Bridgestone,Michlin). I liked the Michlins but I think the metzelersare the best all around tire on the market. I am currently running the MEZ4's on the Busa now, But when this set wear out I will be trying the sportec's.

Thanks for the replies! I'll go with 'em. I'm not too concerned about miles, mainly grip.

I'm currently running my first set of sport-tec's. The grip seems to be pretty good. I've done some pretty tight mountain roads on them and they do not slilp at all. Mileage-wise, I can't tell you how they do because I've only put about 1500 miles on these.
