Anyone do business with "Chromemaker?"

I would like to add this update: Jermaine of "Just Chrome It" is making this right with me. This issue has been settled.

Okay, here is the deal. Several months ago I saw a thread here (that has since dissappeared for some reason) under "Wanted" where this member named "Chromeowner" was looking for used plastics in exchange for some chroming. I had a left side fairing that was damaged, but useable, and Chromemaker said he would chrome my grab rail for $40.00 plus my damaged left fairing. I said "what the heck" the fairing was just taking up space anyway. In the process of packing it I broke a piece off that made it unuseable, in my opinion. So I called the guy and told him. He said no sweat. Then he said he would chrome my grab rail for $70.00. I said "what the heck" (I always trust people once) and sent him a money order for $70.00 and my grab rail (which I customized into two pieces). Well it has been about 2-1/2 months now and I ain't seen nothing from him. I emailed him about mid-October and he said he was running behind but he would ship it out by the 27th of October. The 27th came and went, and I waited until about the first of Novemeber and emailed him again. This time no reply.

Sooooooo, have any of you had experience with this guy "Chromeowner" or a business called "Just Chrome It?"

Correction, the guy's screen name is Chromeowner, not Chromemaker....

I was able to get his email and just sent him another email requesting a status on my chrome job.

And let me just say that I am certainly not out to bust on this guy or his business. We all get behind or busy. I want to give this guy the full benefit of the doubt and a chance to meet the terms that he and I agreed on. I just called their shop and had to leave a voice message asking the owner to call me back.

Fuk that...I would never give anyone the 'benefit' to take over 2 months to chrome a grab rail.
I have had many of thing chromed when I was into the Hardleys,and never waited this long...
When you do business with people,and you cannot keep a commitment date (for whatever the reason is) you contact the person and talk to them you dont leave them hanging.
Good thing it is only a grab rail you are outta..

post the shop number ill give it a call twice a day to ask about your grabrail ! couple dozen more members do the same ? thats alot of calls tyin up a buissenes line ? ill even be nice about and talk to the machine !
