Anyone change your own tires?

Get out your tire irons, I have four. Got two extras at the local BMW Dealer, get the good ones, not the short 12 inches ones

You can use soapy water, but I just windex - from the dollar store. Works the same.

You can balance with the cush drive installed . I use red dot on drive , and wheel to locate into same spot every time .
I was acctually putting new ones in. Thoes are the old ones on the bench. It really needed it. Each new cush drive was .100 wider in total adding up to over a half inch! Bike feels super tight again. Don't forget your cush drives everybody.

I have that old style Rabaconda tire changer.
It works good on street tires too.
But, they make a new street tire machine now(old one is aimed at dirtbikes).
The new style machine looks even easier to use too.

Uncle Steve and I used to change our tires all the time, changing to sticky track tires and back to street tires. Its not that hard if you can get a couple of guys working together.
