Has anyone painted the inner panels on a 2005 blue and silver .

Was thimking of doing it but not sure how to go about getting a match for the two tone beside the silver stripe..

Thats exactly what I'm talking about...The band under the silver fades and is not a solid color..

Wondering how to match that effect...

Could a decal be made to match it..
 
The fade could be done with alittle airbrushing and talent. Go for the smoothed panels.
 
there was a post about a member who does this or had a friend that did it. I just ordered a set from Race Ready. 30 day wait and I can't wait.

Painting is not my forte!

William at Race Ready did mine. If you can, spring for the money to have them sanded down. Well worth it.

There is a difference ..The later model blue/silver have the faded color under the silver stripe.. That's where the problem lies..

How to match that fading effect....

Looking at this as well...wondering if I could just smooth them out and tape/prime/paint/clearcoat them myself. Depending on how much the cost is for someone else to do it.
