year 2000 Salvage project bike presently $3k on ebay.
Slightly below adverage price for a project like this. Another 1k into it should have a mechanicaly sound 2000 busa for $4k.

I looked at lots of those great deals before I bought new.
All of the replies were from foriegn countries with the shipping included. If you look closely for 2 or 3 weeks the same bike pictures appear over and over. Watch your ass on those.
