Well sort of moving. I took a position there and want to start warming up the bullpen on the lay of the land there.
I will keep my house here, and buy another there. So hence the sort of moving. For the first few months I'll air commute back and forth, then stay there full time and probably around month 6 or so, start looking to buy.
The plant will be south in Johnson county, just outside of Venus. No way in hell I'll live in Venus. The closest decent city seems to be Arlington. I'm going to likely want to stay on the south end of the metro area. Easily commutable to all places.
But I want to start hearing from locals what they like and don't like about what is offered.
Unless you can tell me I can get a lot of house for less, I'm sort of seeing 300+ for what I'd like to live in. I'd like a minimum of an acre, preferably gated, an easy commute.
