Any pump using diabetics on here?

Well I am 34, been taking shots for over 22 years now.

My Drs now know my insurance will help pay for an insulin pump. I am SO hesitant because I don't want a needle or constant tubing and a device on my side.

However they keep telling me it's amazing the control and how much better sugars can be controlled.

I was just wondering if any of you guys had one or don't for that matter.

i have a good friend who has had the pump for 5 years now, he claims its great...before he was always in the hospitol and couldnt hold jobs ect ect...
