Starting a project to clean up the wiring under the seat. Any guesses what this might be? Both wires run up the left side of the tank.

But where did it originate from? The battery compartment...?
It isn't factory looking.
Both ends go down to the left side of the tank, only the slack is under the seat

Until we know that, it’s impossible to answer
I have lifted the tank. Last I can see it is going past the throttle mechanism. Thought someone might recognize it before I start pulling plastics.

Is it heated grips wiring?
Sure looks like the connectors that Oxford Grips use.

Previous owner doesn't know either. Something the original owner did. I'll have to pull some plastic off to investigate further
Well, I know what it is. All the spare wires are lighting mods. HID, LED, FBI, CIA, etc. You name it, it's here. What a mess

The one with red/white and black/white is the diagnostic connection.
If I recall correctly, the other white one was black on earlier gen2's, and is the yosh plug for ecu connection, but don't hold me to that...
