Motorcyclist dies in crash Saturday at Hardy

HARDY — A motorcyclist died in a two-vehicle crash about 8:10 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of highways 63 and 63-B at Hardy, state Trooper Jeremy Page said.
A semi truck being driven south on Highway 63-B by David Godbey, 30, of Juniper Pass Course, Ocala, Fla., failed to yield on a left turn onto Highway 63 and drove into the path of the motorcycle, operated by Mark Loran Britton.
Britton, 50, of 703 Winchester St., Flippin, was not wearing a helmet, Page said. He was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle that was northbound on Highway 63, the trooper said.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry.
The body was taken to Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland.
