Another great day in the Sierra Mountains.

The Sierra FOGs took a 300 miler this past Saturday, with the Pacemaster leading the way at a brisk and very spirited pace. After a quick rest stop at the bottom of Ice House Road and hwy 50 (see pic of Pacemaster), we were off to the intersection with Wentworth Springs Road and eventually down into Georgetown for burgers. It was unbelievably hot for this time of year down there, 92 degrees with humidity that us high desert rednecks aren't accustomed to. After topping off with gas, it was south through Placerville on hwy 49 and then the fun twisties that surround Plymouth and Fiddletown (pics of two 2012 ZX14Rs that were along for the ride). After hooking up with hwy 88, we headed home after a full day of great weather and even greater company.

Sounds very nice!! What setup are you running for your luggage?
I got a Givi steel tubular mount system.....used. probably 10 tears ago. Givi quit selling them for the 1st gen due to the 99&2000 models had aluminum rear subframes and some of them broke while riding fully loaded. You can check if they are available nowdays. Is yours a Gen 2? maybe they have them for that model.
