Another clutch question.

So far I have put 200 miles on my Busa and I have one real complaint. The clutch releases too far out. I have the lever set on 4 (shortest) and it is still a bit of a pain to use the clutch. It would be much easier to modulate if the clutch released and engaged closer to the middle of the lever pull. Will the Brock Davidson clutch mod help that or is there something else I can do? Thanks

No, the clutch mod will not change the point of engagement very much. I think mine mite grab a little sooner but you have a much more progressive and positive feel with the mod. To be honest I prefer the short throw at the end of the handle swing. All you need to do it tap the clutch on quick down shifts with it that way.

I hate the "far out" clutch bite too, I've even resorted to grinding a bit off the master cylinder pushrod which has helped matters a bit, bt It's still too far out, I like the biting point to be near the bars for best clutch control with hard launches.
