Another Boost Question...

I did a search and didn't find this exact question. I have a velocity stage 1 turbo currently running max 6 # boost. The engine is stock except for a .080 base plate. Cams are degreed back to stock with adjustable sprockets. I'll be running on pump gas (91 octane here) and want to keep it reliable for daily street riding. I know 6# was the max I would be comfortable with at stock compression. What is the max boost I should be looking at with the lower compression?

WE have run 340whp on stock Pistons and rods with a base spacer and head studs for about 15,000 extremely hard miles on our old shop bike.

I wouldn't be hesitant at all to run it at 8psi. Most of the time it isn't boost that kills engines, it's the tune. As long as that is spot on, you'll have very many trouble free miles.
