AMS- 1000 black screen

On startup ams-1000 just displays a black screen and is not working. Parked it for the night, worked like normal in the morning. Been parked at work now for 4 hours and it is not working again. Anyone experience this before?

I figured maybe it is overheating somehow, but its actually still cool to the touch and not working.
