Ama superbike races this weekend!

The new Link no longer works is throwing together a grand opening AMA Superbike race circuit June 16-18.

Tickets are $80 for a weekend pass for grandstands. $60 General admission.

Same day tickets are $40 for grandstand, $30 General admission.

(kinda pricey)

I'm a meber of the Utah Sportbike Association, and they have track days out at the new track and I hope to be out there racing soon.

Anyhoo, just thought I would share, here are some photos that somone took during the AMA testing of the track:

Where did you get those prices from? I wouldn't mind paying that...

I wouldn't mind nose bleeders, seeming you can get a full vantage point of the track. Besides, the grand stands aren't all that tall. Let me know, seeming I need to purchase tickets quick before they are sold out.

YES!! All AMA Superbike events are broadcast on Speed channel. Usually every Sundays and then repeated every Tuesday for "2 wheel Tuesdays." I'm Totally looking forward to seeing the layout and laptimes of this track. I hear it's all MotoGP spec so that in the future, MotoGP will hopefully consider MMP on their schedule.

I'll be doing a track day there next year with Fastrackriders/Sportbike Track time.

Hey pseudo - I'm out by Highland/CedarHills.  I have a company that sells hardwood shutter components to manufacturers in the valley.

I moved out here from the mid-west to work for Novell back in 2000. Started these companies in 2003.

Bought an '04 LE a few years back.  Can't stay off the thing.  

 If you see a bright red busa on I-15 - that's probably me.  I have only seen a silver one, a black one, and a blue/silver on the roads these past few years.  

Didn't join the USBA yet.  Want to - but with these companies - I'm swamped.  I'm hoping next year I'll get more involved with Dan and company.  Met up at that burger-bar joint in SLC for the Daytona race last year with USBA... did you go?
