Just wondering about the turning does the side car lean in the direction of the turn or is it fixed ( it seems to be fixed from the pics ....) so if it's fixed how is it in turns ....Left no problem : ) I can tell you got great style but how about the right ( what speed ? I guess it would be the only drawback ....)
the sidecar is fix mounted with an second frame. The bike not swing any more in turns. It´s driving like a car or cart. If you make right turns the main Centrifugal force is pushing you to left. Because the emphasis is not on gound zero. Therefore the bike is lifting up on the right side.
In left turns the Centrifugal force is pressing you to right and the main force comes to the sidecar wheel. Therefore you must have a sturdy chassis and a stiff frame. Also the wheel width is important. I have 195/40-15 on the sidecar.
If you drive good the max speed is more than a solo ride. I sware. It´s a lot of fun to pushing solo in curves. I love it. But is have to put enought wight into the sidecar (sand or my family or 2 dogs
). Otherwise i will be the loser.
