Almost bought the farm tonight

I took twisty back road today that I dont take very often. I stopped at the site of my friends death a few months ago and said a prayer for him. He didnt negotiate a turn and went through his windshield. When I left I gave him a send off full throttle and went through a few turns. I didnt realize the corner was so sharp until I was in it and ended up going through the oncoming lane and just barely kept the bike on the road. Thankfully there was no traffic there and I got out of it at a pucker factor of 8 out of 10. I just want to say as we all get on the road for the riding season please be careful. It does not take much before you have your buddies there doing the same thing I was, wishing you were still here.

Glad everything worked out for ya and you kept it on the road. Some curves can sneak up on you quick. I have been there myself on roads that I travel all the time. My mind got to wondering and WHAM It was a wake up call for me as well. Be safe
