NO way big fella! That sucks big time. Didn't you say your second child was born a few months ago too? Hope you can find something soon.
N the mean time just take out an credit line, draw unemployement,do alittle bit of hustling unda the table(keepn it legit) . While your decideing on your next career move hopefully its only temporary . "If you feel you current status is going to be long term leave the credit line alone"

Ya, we did just have a baby 2 months ago.
Luckily, with retirement plans, profit sharing and severance pay I will be ok for a while. My wife and I started a house painting business a year and a half ago and it has recently kicked into full gear. So if nothing else I can start working with her.
As much of a shock as it was, I can't help but think about others who aren't in the semi-favorable position I am in to have it happen.

Hey Big Wall, its too hot down here in the city man, better head for the hills on the busa. Should be 10 - 15 degrees cooler up there, it was last weekend. Good luck man.

I may be heading up to Frisco on Friday Morning to check out a classic car and bike show that they do on main street up there. I have to get back for a barbecue in the afternoon so I can't stay too long. I was thinking of heading up there around 9:30 or 10 and then leave around 1:30 or 2. I am not certain if I am going yet but I was thinking about it. Hopefully there won't be any bicyclists for Jess to yell at on the way up there.

Sorry Thunderpants, I didn't see your offer until Saturday night. I couldn't have made it but thanks for the offer. We should hook up some weekend night and see if the guys are downtown doing stunts.
My wife and I were trying to decide if she should hire some help for her business before I got fired. This has actually turned out to be absolutly perfect timing. I can help her now. Her business has really started to take off. If we can keep the momentum going for the next few months we can take the winter off.

Wall I've detected a potential problem...Your wife is your boss, so you may not be taking the winter off...And you need to sign a contract that she has to pay you more than minimum wages and include on the job incentives...(You know what I mean, special incentives)
I will get that in writing!!!!!
