Hi guys,

Im going to change my in-tank strainer. The 08-12 busa uses strainer part # 15420-44G00, The 2013+ busa uses part # 15420-05H00 . the earlier 15420-44G00 is about twice the cost OEM.

The aftermarket listing says that their strainers work for both part numbers? it could be a mistake on their end...can anyone confirm?

Thanks

I got one off eBay and changed mine out. It was a couple bucks, but a pain the ass to change.

@pashnit what year is your bike? can you provide a link to the ebay listing your purchased?

also did you change the big O ring on your pump?

I have the '08 so the Fuel strainer was 7 bucks TYD.

I opted to swap out the Fuel Pump ($42 new) for good measure just to be safe, probably completely unnecessary but only want to do these repairs once and I was having fuel delivery issues. Fixing fuel issues was getting beyond my abilities so I handed the bike over to my local shop and they tested everything and all was well. Bike runs like a top now.

I did change out the Fuel Pump O-ring Gasket, but that was also probably completely unnecessary also. That was $16.
