I have heard that the second generation bike needs a different fuel managment system than the Gen 1 bikes because the new bike employs two sets of butterfly valves in the intake track. I have heard one Power comander will not work. I have also heard that the UK makes a unit that can be adjusted to make changes for both sets.So what is going on with tuning the Gen II?

Hi J.C. ! So the Power Comander will take in to account two sets of butterfly valves when the engine is being tuned? The article in the UK Fast Bikes tabloid was pretty adamant about the lack tuning capability with a Power Comander. Why would some one say that?

I have a PCIII on my 08, and it runs great. It's been tuned to hold the a/f at 13.5:1 through the entire 80%-100% throttle range.

bazazz controls both sets of injectors, let me know if you need more info or pricing i can get it for you.
