Aftermarket cans?

Hey all, been looking at aftermarket cans for my Busa... (2000)
Been told all sorts of stories with the subframes cracking?

Does this mean NOT To go for aftermarket cans then?

99-2000 models had aluminum frames that were lighter but more prone to weakening under heavy stress conditions. If you are just riding you will be fine, but start doing wheelies, riding aggressive at MGVW and you will be stressing the frame. All I know is that the frames are weaker on these models but not to the point wear you need to worry about running out and getting a new frame and you will be fine w/ any aftermarket cans.

I have a set of yosh ss slipons mint, waiting for customer to drop them off.

When looking for aftermarket cans, stay away from the silicone cans I here they leak and cause health problems...:moon:

I agree aftermarket cans are a great improvement
in most cases. If the paint is peeling and the
suspension is sagging, aftermarket cans are a
waste of time.
