guess Jessica got her way, again. Our wedding will be in Las Vegas. She wants to do a pirate wedding. And stay at Treasure Island hotel.

its gonna cost me roughly 4500 for flights, hotel, wedding, and pocket money. But I know good and well she will find something she just has to have.

So how do I go about doing Vegas on the cheap? I dont gamble, she might play the nickel slots, but i dont want to drop all my money there.. What are some fun FREE or cheap things to do while in Vegas?

when is the wedding? There are a lot of ways to help cut down on costs depending on where you are coming from and staying. Leave us a note with dates and stuff and I'll try to help you find the cheapest flights  (btw, I travel for a living so I've done this a time or two  )

in this economy I'm sure you can cut some deals with hotels and have them throw in some shows and what not as part of the package.

Friends that go there tell me there is plenty of good food for cheap at the casinos. Grab a travel agent and work them over.

I don't know personally, but from what i hear 4500 is not too bad. While you are there you should go eat the buffet at the Wynn Casino. Not cheap, but worth every penny. You could ride the coaster on top of the new york new youk and you could watch the water light show in front of that famous casino, I can't remember the name.

Bellagio is the one with the light show, and you'll be almost right next door to it.

As for rooms: when you get there and are checking in, tell the desk clerk that you're in town to get married, and that its your first time in vegas, etc etc etc. I bet you they upgrade your room for free. I was super nice to our desk girl at bellagio and wound up getting bumped up two levels in my room, from a standard room to an executive suite, complete with hot tub and a GREAT view of the water show and the strip. Cha CHING!

I got married in Vegas (At the Little White Wedding Chapel). The only thing I would advise is that you stay at a nicer hotel. When I got married we stayed at Paris Hotel. The last couple of times we went we stayed at the Venetian.

I've never stayed at Treasure Island (it's kind of old) but with that being said, you want you wedding to be memorable (in a good way)..... Good luck, congrats......

Oh and one more thing if you like to eat make sure you go to the buffet at the Belligo....

We walked and walked until my feet were blistered. Sitting by the pool doesn't cost anything either!

This might sound kinda tacky but make sure you throw around that your getting married to every employee you can (from bell hops to managers to waitresses to door men) and after the wedding throw around you just got married and its now your honey moon... this will get you all kinds of cool hook ups from free shows to free drinks to even sometimes limo service to room upgrades.... just make sure your smiling and everyone is happy... Vegas loves happy people and are more then willing to throw comps out like they are candy on Halloween....

Will you have a car? There are some old abandoned mining towns around here and in California that have tours and shows. Red Rock Canyon is a fun drive and you can hike if that's your thing. PM me if you need directions or anything.

horse back riding, rent a hum-v rent a harley, fly around the city in a heli, walk from one end to the other...get a massage at luxor, see the star trek experience at the hilton, ride the rides on top off stardust, eat the buffet at the sahara, see a show at mgm grand...like ultimate fighting or go to hard rock, the nightclubs at ceasers....climb the rock wall inside the coke cola building, ride the roller coasters, have sex in a elevator while smiling for the security cams...

Yeah Ive been there 3 times...

this definatly works....also go to the fron desks of hotels you arent even staying at and request stuff

when you mentioned request stuff that reminded me... def look online for coupons theres all sorts from matching bets (sometimes up to 50 dollars meaning if you bet a 50 dollar bet they will match you so if you win you get 100 instead of just 50) and all sorts of good deals on the clubs and as said earlier the roller coasters are amazing if thats your thing... but instead of paying for each one single style get the pass that allows you to ride them all for one price... you can have alot of fun for next to free if you do a little research and as I said before a smile and good attitude is worth its weight in gold!
