Adjusting fast idle...

Lamb has a pic somewhere, but it's no big deal. It's easy to fudge with and it moves right back no problem.
Sounds like a good idea. Next time you have your tank up would ya snap a picture of the tab bent back ? Thanks !

I saved this write up from years ago. Can't remember who posted it.

"Prop your tank up and follow the cable from the fast idle to the right side of the throttle bodies. Where the throttle cables attach, you will see that when you pull your fast idle it moves a bracket that opens your throttle slightly. Remove the stopper screw and bend the stopper bracket back. Tighten the slack in the cable. So now when you pull the fast idle lever it opens the throttle allot more. Mine revs to 7000rpm instead of the stock 2500-3000rpm so when you’re riding pull the fast idle lever and you can cruise at 70-90mph depending on your gearing."
