Adjusting fast idle after rerouting it

So, I rerouted my cable to the left of my bars and through the two screws for the tank, and now the fast idle is no worky. I can't figure out how to get this thing to work. I keep trying to shorten the cable, but I'm shortening the travel of the fast idle lever on the handlebars. It isn't in the shop manual, either.

I would have searched if it worked. Sorry

Take most of the slack out of the cable with the 2 locking nuts where it mounts to the throttle bodies. There is also an adjusting screw at the throttle bodies for the fast idle.Roll the lever back and you should be able to set your fast idle by turning the fast idle screw.

That looks clean. I'll have to do that.

Thanks.
