Adjusting clutch levers?

I bought an after market clutch lever. Is call roll a click or sumn like that. I notice that when i set it to 1 or 3 on the lever that my bike doesnt turn on. It only works when i set it to 3 on the lever.Does anyone knows to fix this???

Check to make sure the rod is IN the detent on the barrel.

I have an after market on mine,if I leave it on 1 the bike will not start so I use that as an extra anti theft device

I had the same problem with my stock levers and then with the aftermarket shorty levers in the 1 postion. I bought a new clutch switch from the dealer and installed the new switch. The first time i pulled the lever in i could hear it click before it hits the grips. YEAH!! Now with the shorty lever in the 1 position it will start no problem. I hope this helps. The switch cost about $23.00
