I am not sure if
I would ill for
that swing arm .
But I would sure
hurt someone
really badly .
It is nice the old "named" bikes would make an appearance...names like Katana, Interceptor, Ninja, were names to know.
Great design, bit the old Kat was always a heavyweight bruiser to me, not this sensible commuter. Just like when they cast a skinny model to play Wonder Woman. Missed opportunity.
Always loved the Katana , and that is one very trick and tidy example . That swingarm is very tasty , JMC is old skool cool . We got a racing class down under running among others Katana's , TBR racing is getting 180+ bhp reliably out of the ones they build and run . Great photo of the two Suzuki beauties together .
Not sure why but Suzuki sold that bike in Canada but not the US. Back when everybody got the new stuff long before it came here.I wanted the original but got one of these instead....did a pile of work to it internally but wanted it to remain fairly stock in appearance. Except the pipe which is a Harris unit and pretty rare I am told.

That was odd...many bikes almost didn't get to the US. My Bandit was one...at the last minute they decided it would be sold there. The '86 pictured (mine) is actually pretty stable and quick for an old bike, the best part is it has the good 'ol Suzuki reliability. Not sure why but Suzuki sold that bike in Canada but not the US. Oil boiler'sGsx1400 was another that regrettably never made it to our shores. Loved that bike.
