A newbie question about Nitrous

What is the difference between a "Wet" system and a "Dry" system. Which one is better, and why is it better? I am amazed at the kick is horsepower Nitrous gives (best bang for the bucks) but it is also very intimidating.

The difference is in how the fuel and nitrous is transported to the combustion chamber. In a dry system the nitrous is taken thru the intake (either sprayed into the airbox or down the throttle bodies) and the extra fuel needed is added by the ecm (either flash the stocker or piggyback controller like a power commander etc.). In a wet system the nitrous and fuel are added by putting the nozzles for both in the head. A second supply of fuel is controlled by the jet size in the fuel side nozzle. Dry is easier to install but also easier to screw up if you don't add enough fuel. Used to be that wet sysyems allowed for more power, but there have been many advances in dry technology, and they are about even now. Hope this helped a little....
